I can't always say NO when it comes to hydration range products. Hydration is essential for beautiful skin. Have you ever thought that hydration alone is not enough? Everyday our skin combats external aggressors like pollution, UV rays and air-conditioning that damage our skin, leaving it dry, dull and lifeless.

Recently, I was introduced to a range of hydration product with PINK packaging which caught my attention. It is none other than L'Oreal Paris Hydrafresh. Hydrafresh is the 1st refreshing hydration range with antioxidant benefits. It is enriched with the finest French Grape Seed Extract, rich with antioxidants 50x more effective than Vitamin E and double Hyaluronic Acid for intensely hydrated, supple and radiant skin.

L'Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Range

I was given the whole Hydrafresh range of products to try from cleanser, toner, day cream and night cream. Without wasting time, let me start off with the cleanser - Hydrafresh Hydrating Refreshing Creamy Foam.

Hydrafresh Hydrating Refreshing Creamy Foam

This soft and rich milky creamy texture lathers abundantly when in contact with water, delivering a gentle sensation. It contains essential minerals for the skin and the refreshing creamy foam is able to thoroughly cleanse the makeup and dirt. Try to squeeze a small amount of the cleanser as it creates a lot of lather when in contact with water.

Best of all, it cleanses my skin thoroughly and leaves my skin feeling refreshed without feeling of tightness. It also makes my skin soft and supple each time after wash.

Hydrafresh Hydration + Antiox Active Spa Water

Moving on to the next step which is the toner or lotion. They do not call toner / lotion in this L'Oreal Hydrafresh range. They rather called it Hydrafresh Hydration + Antiox Active Spa Water which i have no idea why. The name Spa Water is rather new to me. This Spa Water is naturally rich in minerals which helps to stimulate cell's vitality to strengthen skin barrier for an optimal hydration level.

I think basically it works as a toner / lotion but it's not harsh to the skin. This slightly milky texture immediately makes my skin smoother and more supple. Each day I feel that my skin is soft and supple and the smell of the Spa Water smells great too. I use it whenever I feel my skin is dry as a softener to my skin. :P Do not forget to apply your neck area too.

Hydrafresh Hydration + Antiox Active Mask-In Water Gel

Since Hydrafresh comes with 2 types of cream which is Day Cream and Night Cream, so I will start off with the Day Cream. This Hydrafresh Hydration + Antiox Active Mask-In Water Gel has powerful French Grape polyphenols and double Hyaluronic Acid which helps the skin to stay fresh, bouncy and radiant.

French Grape polyphenols is a powerful antioxidant that helps to neutralize free radicals caused by daily aggressions while double Hyaluronic Acid, combination of Hyaluronic Acid and Microencapsulated Hyaluronic Acid + Lipidure boost skin's hydration up to 4x which deliver dual moisturising effect for softer and smoother skin texture.

The light creamy texture of mask-in water gel absorbs into skin easily leaving my skin bouncy and hydrated. I even used the moisture tester to test the hydration level on my face and you can see that it boosts up the hydration level from 34.1% to 54.6% after using the mask-in water gel. I also noticed that the gel is not sticky and I can feel soft and supple skin all day long. (:

Since I have mentioned that it is a day cream, it is advisable to apply during day time as this day time gel is not as rich as the night gel. You do not want to look oily all day if you apply the night cream.

Hydrafresh Hydration + Antiox Active Night Mask-In Jelly

The last product that I am going to review would be the Hydrafresh Hydrafresh + Antiox Active Night Mask-In Jelly. This product would be used during night time after cleanser and spa water, the same step as the day time.

This Night Mask-In Jelly is different from the day mask-in gel as it has a bouncy jelly texture with almost transparent colour helps to deliver actives for mask-level efficacy. Normally night gel would be sticky and this Night Mask-In Jelly is not sticky and non-oily as compared to some of the moisturisers I have tried before previously.

As compared with the hydration level, I noticed a huge difference on my skin as it increases from 39% to 60.6%. *jaw drop* Night Mask-in Jelly proves to have higher hydration level as compared with the day jelly since it works as a night mask. I noticed that my skin becomes brighter the next day when I woke up. The hydration level on the skin is still maintained even though I had 8 hours of sleep in the air-conditioned room.

Honestly speaking, I noticed that my skin has improved a lot especially on the hydration level. I don't feel dryness on my skin the next day since I sleep in air-conditioned room daily whenever I use this Hydrafresh range. The only drawback is that they should come with a bigger bottle of Spa Water since I have to use on both day and night when they have separated their moisturiser into day and night product.

Continuation from the previous post which I mentioned about Behind-The-Scenes tour, we went for dinner later on at Resort Seafood Steamboat Restaurant which is located at Level 1, Resort Hotel. At Resorts World Genting, the temperate weather is always perfect for Malaysia's favourite one-pot comfort food - steamboat dining.

We had the opportunity to enjoy the invigorating pleasure of do-it-yourself cooking at the newly-revamped Resort Seafood Restaurant. With the spacious setting (the restaurant seats 256 persons) and relaxed ambience, it takes the hotpot experience to a new level, far and above the sweaty mood of showing in the lowlands heat.

The talking points of a steamboat get-together are always its freshness and variety: ingredients, soup stock and sauces. I strongly believe that Resort Seafood Steamboat Restaurant has what it takes to be all thanks to Chef Lai Kok Yeow and his kitchen team.

On the other hand, the ultimate 'kick' in steamboat is the soup stock for dipping and cooking. Resort Seafood offers exciting contrasts - spicy and nourishing - with tomyam and herbal chicken soup flavours in a 'yin yang' style black pot.

No less than 20 different of sauces are also freshly prepared, every day. We get to sample and mix a variety of unique flavours - from smoothly light soya sauce to premium oyster sauce, green chilli sauce to fiery, slow-burning chilli oil - that enhance the succulence and taste of our favourite steamboat items.

Different types of food were served and there were a list of food in the menu for you to choose from. At Resort Seafood, all ingredients are freshly kitchen-prepared, straight from the market and aquarium, or air-flown and the soups are additive-free too.

Steamboat at Resort Seafood can also become a casual fine-dining occasion, complemented by imported catch: Canadian geoduck (best served with wasabi), Australian snow crab, Boston lobster, from the aquarium. These can be prepared for the steamboat, or cooked in the diner's preferred style by the kitchen. They taste good even without any seasoning.

Top off the steamboat banquet in the highlands with a dish of fried rice or noodles and a choice of mildly sweet desserts. The dessert which was served on that day was the ice cream steamboat. It contains fruits on top with chocolate ice cream at the bottom. The fruits were really fresh ranging from longans, strawberries to jackfruits. *om nom nom*

After the hearty steamboat at Resort Seafood Steamboat Restaurant, we were given the chance to watch magic performance live in Genting! Frankly speaking I have not watched any magic performance live and it would be an honour to witness these performances with my own eyes. *wide grin*

Asia's largest magic variety show, Superstars of Magic 4 is into its 4th year running, and this year's instalment promises to be bigger - if not better than ever before. 7 world-class illusionists will weave their magic on stage, and are set to wow and bedazzle their audience with their respective brands of illusion. The show will be held at Genting International Showroom from 10th July to 25th October, 8pm (Monday to Friday), 4pm and 8pm every Saturday and 4pm on every Sunday.

The illusionists demonstrated to us a comparative view of what magic is to different people - depending on whether they are from the East or West. They also highlighted how magic has evolved with technology and the audience hence can expect the show to be one breathtaking spectacle.

From Taiwan, there's Jeff Lee, an award-winning celebrity magician who performs with TV magic and modern music. Jeff takes pleasure in delighting his audience by speedily taking things out of his TV.

Ted Kim, from Korea is another show-stopper. The current FISM originality act champion holder, Ted's act is one of a kind and infuses modern screen mapping technology and LED Projector technology. He's a breath of fresh air in the field as he incorporates the latest video games and music to his act such as Super Mario Brothers. No doubt Ted is a winner among the younger generation.

Ted's countryman, One Gun, is also among the hottest magicians in Korea and one of my favourite magician. *wide grin* He performs his T-shirt act throughout the world. One Gun would literally step onto the stage in a casual T-shirt and jeans and promptly stun his audience with his clothes that on there own keep changing in colour and type - right before the audience's eyes.

Joseph Gabriel

The two Americans illusionists in the show are Joseph Gabriel and Jay Mattioli. Joseph's show is regarded as the Godfather of Dove Magic, and his show headlined broadway in the past. His act is said to be light years ahead of the classical dove act that we are all familiar with.

Jay is a celebrity magician in his own right. He first made his mark as a finalist magician on America's Got Idol (ACT), wowing America with his sense of comedy and charm. He ultimately climbed his way to the top 10 of America's Got Talent.

Last but not least, there's Shawn Farquhar from Canada, the current the International Brotherhood of Magician or IBM President has appeared on the Ellen Show and was one of the few magicians in the world who managed to fool Penn and Teller on their hit TV series. He is acclaimed by his peers to be the sleight of hand artist of our time and he proved this true when he won the FISM Close Up Championships of Magic in 2012.

We were fortunate enough to have meet and greet session with the illusionists and of course I would not want to miss this opportunity to grab a few shots with these amazing people. (:

Oils of Life™ Intensely Revitalising Gel Cream

Today I would be reviewing this Oils of Life™ Intensely Revitalising Gel Cream. This dewy-fresh daily nourishing gel cream is infused with 3 precious seed oils from around the world to replenish and revitalise skin. These seed oils are cold-pressed to preserve potent properties and ensure the utmost affinity to skin.

BLACK CUMIN SEED OIL (Egypt)

Known for its concentration in antioxidants

CAMELLIA SEED OIL (China)

Naturally rich in nutritive oleic acids

ROSEHIP SEED OIL (Chile)

Rich in Omega 3 and 6

The packaging on the other hand is rather simple - white colour box with a tinge of gold label. It comes in a jar of 50 ml and it has a small cover in the jar to prevent the cream from overflowing around the cover. The only drawback for Oils of Life™Intensely Revitalising Gel Cream in a jar is that it does not come with a spatula. Somehow I feel that it is really important to have a spatula in each packaging as I want to avoid cross-contamination of the product so that the product itself can last longer.

Since I have a spatula with me, I used the spatula to scoop out a pea-sized amount and put it on my ring finger and lightly massage the cream with my fingers. On the other hand, many might not notice that I have a bigger face. So normally I would take a bigger amount as compared with the pea-size to ensure that my face is fully covered with the cream and all the surface area of my skin are well treated with this gel cream.

Honestly speaking, whenever i think of products which consist of flower or fruit oils, I would definitely choose to ignore as I always believe that oil-based products will make my face becomes oily. Somehow this Oils of Life™changed my perception towards oil-based products completely. It does not only absorb well into the skin but it helps to brighten and freshen up my skin each time I use it.

Oils of Life™Intensely Revitalising Gel Cream has lightweight texture which absorbs easily into the skin. The scent is quite pleasant as if I am going for aromatherapy facial. I have been using it for almost 2 weeks and I can notice the difference on my skin especially after the next day. I can feel the skin is fully revitalised and best of all the skin still remains soft and plump the next day without feeling any greasy. Well it clearly freshens up my skin and makes my skin slightly brighter than before.

You would be able to notice the difference on your skin especially the moisture level. Frankly speaking, I sleep in air-conditioned room everyday and it is essential that your skin has to be replenished with hydration cream every hour and day. My face does not feel greasy at all and I felt that my skin has come to life when I noticed that my skin brightens up a little and more plump than before.

Photo above was not edited and merely taken to show my readers the difference of my face after using Oils of Life™ Intensely Revitalising Gel Cream for almost 2 weeks. You will notice that my skin on the left hand side photo is lifted up and become more plump as compared with before. However do take note to look after your neck as well as you do not want your skin your neck to look older than your face.

Overall, I am happy with the results and I can't wait to try the other products from the same range. I would personally love to try their Facial Oil and it would be good to see your skin is revitalised and plumped with Oils of Life™ range.

It's been many years since I last stepped into Genting Highlands and so many changes happened for the past few years. Resorts World Genting is set to be the largest integrated resort in the region - and will stamp its mark all over again with the new features it offers, from accommodation to entertainment to F&B. Among the new features at Resorts World Genting are the new living spaces in First World Hotel. A new era has arrived in the form of Tower 2 Annex, an extension to Tower 2.

Thanks to Resorts World Genting, I had the opportunity to take a look at the new hotel rooms in the First World Tower 2 Annex.

First World Tower 2 Annex has undergone about one-and-a-half-year of planning and renovations at the cost of RM300 million - and we, the guests can now expect a trendy and chic 3-star hotel. I was impressed with the contemporary setting in the lobby the moment I stepped into the hotel. It is completed with 3D television visuals, chill music and a designer's featured wall.

In line with growing trends, rooms are sold without breakfast as there are many options in the complex for guests to enjoy the meal of their choice.

Therefore, the signature Terminal 2 Cafe located in the lobby features freshly baked pastries, soups, snacks and beverages from 7.30 am to midnight. Offering complimentary wi-fi, it is designed for those who are on the move but also has 48 seats for those wanting to dine in.

The new annex makes better use of space, compared with the initial two towers of First World Hotel. It is designed to be functional but yet chic, the guest rooms come in lively and vibrant splashes of colour and design.

The intentions to create a standard hotel experience - enhanced room interior that is centred on a great bed to ensure a good night's rest. The frosted line green glass walls acts as dividers between the toilet, show and sink, and the wooden floor has a warm sand colour.

The rooms come with either 2 single beds or a double, and an open hanging cupboard provides good storage space. For refreshments, the usual kettle with tea and coffee-making facilities await on a spacious bench top. The best part is that it comes with the USB power point to ease our convenience.

Other features that ensure convenience and comfort include a flat-screen television with in-house and local channels, telephone, mini fridge and a large laptop-sized in-room safe.

The hotel is cozy and I love it overall. The only thing is that I wish they will provide hair dryer as girls need to blow dry their hair since it is cold up here.

Anyway, First World Hotel has other rooms that you guys should check them out. They do provide rooms for bigger family and I think these are the rooms that you should look into. (:

Most of you will be familiar with Michelle Phan, the famous make-up demonstrator and entrepreneur who became notable as a YouTube personality. She launched her own makeup range, em by Michelle Phan a few years ago and I am lucky to lay my hands on her make-up products since it is not available in Malaysia.

Today I will be introducing this chiaroscuro Contour and Highlighter Stick from em cosmetics. Are you guys excited?! This magic stick is inspired by the girl who wants to pose like a model while sculpting and chiseling her best features.

FYI, chiaroscuro Contour and Highlighter Stick is a double-ended contour / highlight stick which is used for contouring and highlighting your face. Chiaroscuro comes in 4 tones which are Fair Tones, Light Tones, Medium Tones and Deep Tones.

This magic stick is all you need to contour and highlight, emphasising your best features. a unique, double-ended contour/light stick create shadow and definition with lightweight, powder-crème side stick create light and illumination with lightweight, silky-cream side stick. Here are some of the tips on how to contour your face:

Using the powder-crème side stick, use the contour stick on the outer sides of your nose to make your nose look slimmer. Remember to find the hollows of your cheeks. You can do so by making a fish face. As you can see from the photo above, the hollows are pretty obvious and can be seen on my face. You may use the contour shade and draw 5 small strokes on the hollows of your cheeks downwards.

Gently blend it with ring finger.

You may also contour on the area right above your eyebrows. If you want to create definition at the jaw, use the contour shade and trace just above your jawline from your ears down to your chin. You are able to create a shadow by blending in. Do remember to gently blend it with your ring finger as it exerts lesser pressure on your face.

As for the highlighting part, apply the highlighter side right down the middle of your nose and blend away. Try to add more highlight on the top of your cheekbones for extra definition. Do take note to apply the highlighter on the nose bridge, cupid's bow and chin for better definition.

With and without flash (:

The results after contouring and highlighting can be seen from the photo above. I took photos with and without flash to see the difference. Without the flash, somehow I look pretty natural in it. However you can see that the cheeks area and nose bridge are somewhat more defined and obvious if I take the photos with flash. Not too obvious on the definition part but I would prefer the contouring part to be more obvious.

It's good to have both contour and highlighter on one stick as it's so convenient to bring around be it work or travel. The only drawback of this product is that the shade I had picked (Light Tones) somehow are is light and not pigmented as what i had expected.

Holla readers! I have been pretty stressed up lately. Time flies super fast. In a blink of an eye, it's already mid of October and a few more months to end year 2015. Today I would like to share with you guys that I had the opportunity to meet up with Miss Jeannie Mai and Miss Sazzy Falak at the "How Do I Look Like Asia" launch which was held a month ago. *jaw drop*

DIVA has brought the iconic US TV show to Malaysia, giving selected individuals a makeover from head-to-toe with the help of the celebrity stylist on the show. The US version of the show is hosted by the gorgeous celebrity stylist Jeannie Mai.

How Do I Look? Asia is the Asian version of NBC Universal Formats’ makeover series How Do I Look? How Do I Look? Asia is available on DIVA – NBC Universal International Television’s leading women’s entertainment channel in the region.

The show follows a professional stylist who helps style-challenged participants to get a fresh, new look through fun and glamorous makeovers. While learning vital tips to keep their style from going astray, the participants discover more about themselves and gain a brighter outlook on life.

Both Jeannie and Sazzy shared some of beauty tips with the members of the floor.

The series features host Sazzy Falak, a team of local fashion experts and leading style icons, and appearances by Jeannie Mai – the face of the US How Do I Look? – in each episode. Sazzy will help fashion-challenged participants revamp their look through glamorous makeovers.

Did I tell you guys that I had the once-a-lifetime opportunity to take a photo with Jeannie and Sazzy??!! *jaw drop* I was too excited for this! She is my idol. :D

Jeannie is so friendly and nice. We requested for a selfie and she agreed to take a wefie with us despite having the group photo already. Yay! :D

We are fortunate enough to experience the newborn beauty as Watsons Personal Care Stores incorporate with Cason Trading Sdn Bhd to give us back the reborn youth by bringing in 3 new Japan brands into Malaysia - Baby Foot, DotFree and PureVivi.

The team used Bonavoce waterproof eyeliner to draw on my left hand upon arrival of the venue. They told us that they would be using the PureVivi Cleansing Lotion to remove the eyeliner effectively.

Jenn Chia was the emcee of the day who is the new 8tv Quickie host. She launched the event by welcoming the Watsons VIPs whom are Ms Caryn Loh, the General Manager, Ms Hamilah, the Admin Manager, Ms Shureen Lim, Marketing Manager and Mr Jude Benjamin Lisa, the Assistant Marketing Manager followed by Siew Phooi, the buyer and the rest of the honoured guests.

Cheesie was there to attend the launch because she is the beauty ambassador for Cason's Trading which carries the Baby Foot, DotFree and PureVivi. Cheesie also shared some beauty tips and did same live demonstration on one of the guests in order to show us the effectiveness of the beauty products - DotFree All-In-One Essence and Purevivi Cleansing Lotion.

After the product demonstration, all the guests had the opportunity to try out the Baby Foot Easy Pack treatment - a foot mask which is created to remove unwanted dead skin cells from the feet in just 7 days. It's effective, simple to use yet effortless. We would only need 30 minutes to leave on our feet in Baby Foot Easy Pack at home. I personally have tried this mask before when I got it during Nuffnang event previously and I loved it a lot. (:

Since we had to wait for 30 minutes before removing the baby foot treatment pack, we proceed to try out the DotFree and PureVivi products. Dot Free All-In-One Essence does not leave any sticky feeling on the skin and the best part was it absorbs easily into the skin.

Another product which fascinates me the most was PureVivi Cleansing Lotion. This cleansing lotion is a water-based cleansing lotion which is a 4-in-1 multipurpose cleansing lotion. It is used to remove makeup, acts as a cleanser, moisturizer and soothe the redness and itch on the skin.

I applied the Cleansing Lotion on the cotton pad and placed it on the hand which the team drew on my hand previously and leave for few seconds before removing the cotton pad from the specified area.

To my surprise, the waterproof eyeliner on my hand was completely removed without any residues left on my hands. My jaw almost dropped when I saw the results.

After that, we were given a tub full of water to wash our feet after 30 minutes. We removed the plastic from the feet and soaked our feet into the tub and washed it.

Can't wait to see the results after 7 days (:

The launch ended with a group photo session with the media. I seriously can't wait to drop by Ossoto Spa for the 3rd round and enjoy the spa session with my girlfriends. Anyway, I was glad to be able to meet up with some of the bloggers since I have not been attending events for quite some time.

Most of you would have known that Avène is famous for their Spring Water many years ago. To those who are not aware, they also launched their own skincare which addresses certain types of skin concern.

I received Avène Gentle Cleansing Foam, Avène Spring Water, Avène Gentle Toner, Avène Hydrance Optimale Light Hydrating Cream and Avène Day Protector UV EX two weeks ago and decided to take up the 14-day challenge to try out these products.

Let me started off by reviewing their Avène Gentle Cleansing Foam. This cleansing foam for face and eyes are specifically formulated for normal to combination, sensitive skin.

The texture of the Cleansing Foam is light and not creamy. It does NOT contain PARABEN and it is suitable for oily to combination skin and sensitive skin too. The key ingredients of the Gentle Cleansing Foam includes Patented Glutamic Acid which mattifies and controls the excess oil, Gentle CleansingBase which cleanses and removes makeup thoroughly on face and eyes and Hydrating Agents which leaves skin soft and supple.

This soap-free cleanser is gentle and removes all the impurities on my skin leaving my skin soft. It also helps to regulate excess sebum production. You can apply to dry or damp face. Always remember to massage with fingertips focusing n T-zone and rinse thoroughly.

Avène Thermal Spring Water

Next step to use Avène Thermal Spring Water to soften, calm and soothe the face. Avène Thermal Spring Water takes in vital minerals and trace elements as it filters through the rocks of the River Orb Valley. Avène is widely recognized as number 1 in French pharmacies among dermo-cosmetic skincare brands and also the most recommended by dermatologists and pharmacists worldwide.

If your skin feels dry or itchy, Avène Thermal Spring Water is the right product to use. Sometimes I even use this to spray on a piece of dry mask and place on my face for 2 to 3 minutes whenever I feel my skin is dry. You can choose to spray as often as necessary especially after exercise, sunburn or to set makeup too.

This gentle toner is suitable for sensitive skin and does not contain any alcohol content which will dry out your skin. I love how this tone helps to soften my skin and it leaves my skin feels fresh each time I uses it. Whenever I feel my skin is slightly sensitive especially after I have done my laser treatment, this would be the perfect toner to go for since it is gentle on my skin.

Avène Hydrance Optimal Light Hydrating Cream

Next is to apply moisturizer on your skin. Never ever try to skip moisturiser because it's one of the basic steps that no one should skip. Avène Hydrance Optimal Light Hydrating Cream is al lightweight daily facial cream which is formulated to mimic the eye's perfect moisturising system.

This cream helps to restore skin's barrier and prevents moisture loss. I like this lightweight cream as it absorbs onto my skin easily leaving my skin fresh and soft after application. You will also notice that your texture are even out after using the cream. Certain cream will cause some itchiness on my skin but definitely this cream will not do that on my face.

Avène Day Protector UV EX cream

Before you go out especially in the morning, try out this Avène Day Protector UV EX cream. This cream contains SPF 30 PA+++ which does not leave the skin feeling sticky each time applying it. Best of all, this is suitable for sensitive skin. I like how it is lightweight and absorbs easily onto my skin. Try to apply this everyday before you leave for work since it has sunblock protection to protect you from harmful UV rays.

Overall Avène skincare range is suitable for those who have sensitive, oily to combination and dry to combination skin. You can choose to use whichever range which are suitable for your skin. I love how it helps to soothe my skin especially when I have outdoor outing the whole day and the Avène Thermal Spring Water always come to the rescue of my sunburns and tired skin. On the lighter note, I believe that this is a good skincare range to try for those who have eczema or sensitive skin.

Malaysian fans were treated to a special up close and personal with Hong Kong superstars during the launch of All Things Girl infotainment program at Sunway Pyramid a few weeks ago. Today I am going to review Bourjois products! Are you guys as excited as I am? Let me share with you guys what I am going to review today - Bourjois Lash Machine and Brow Natural. First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Muffin Beauty for the products.

Next up, I would like to review Brow Natural by Bourjois. This eyebrow pen is equipped with a discreet, semi-transparent formula that allows you to easily and subtly reshape your eyebrows.

This eyebrow felt-tip pen creates a natural finish on my brow. I love that it draws perfect and thin lines on my eyebrow. I can fill it in small stokes on the areas that I like to fill in. It is so easy to apply on my eyebrows!

The only drawback is that the super fine tip of eyebrow pen tends to get dry easily. I had no choice but to cut the fine tip off before applying on my eyebrow. The fine tip sometimes does not create strokes on the brow which causes me to cut the fine tip off. I spent most of my time pondering why and how could I grow so fat at one period of time. I was devastated and had no idea what to do. I enjoy eating a lot and I can't help if you ask me to stop eating.

I was then ushered to the room for consultation by Dr Nurul Ain before I could start my Vanquish™ session. Dr Nurul is a kind and patient doctor. Dr was busy explaining to me the whole process, effects and results of the Vanquish™treatments.

Dr also arranged the trial session for me to try out since I will be away for a week since this Vanquish™treatment requires 4 to 5 treatments once in a week. That particular week I had to be away from KL and therefore, Dr suggested to me to try out this session for 30 minutes. Thank you Dr. (:

She said I could get the feel of the treatment first before going through whole Vanquish™ treatments of 4 to 5 sessions. I was ushered to the treatment room.

It feels like I am staying in a hotel room because it was well decorated with flowers and television for the patients to enjoy the movie while waiting for any treatments to end. Dr Ain then asked me to weigh my body before the treatment started. I had to know the body composition such as weight, body fats, body water, muscle mass, physique rating, DCI / BMR, metabolic age, bone mass and visceral fat by using the special weighing machine.

My waistline is measured each time before any treatments are done.

Measurements were also taken to ensure that the effectiveness of the results and we are able to see the 'Before' and 'After'.

So this is how the Vanquish™machine looks like.

The Verdict of the Trial Session

Overall, the treatment was great. I could feel that the heat was still burning in my body. However, I noticed that I feel thirsty almost immediately. Thank goodness I had a glass of water before the treatment and one glass after the treatment. I can somehow noticed that my love handles are slightly tighter and firmer than before. Dr Ain measured my body and she noticed that the waistline had gone down by 0.5 cm. Not a bad results as the tummy area is harder to burn with normally but I was glad that I am able to reduce by 0.5 cm with the help of Vanquish™ device.

I am not going to explain anymore about the treatments in this post. Instead I will put the whole process in the next blog for you guys to read with the photos as well. Remember if I blogged about BTL Vanquish™in the previous post? Today I am going to talk more about the 1st actual treatment that I went through. Not sure if you remembered that I mentioned in my 1st blog post that I went for the trial session and the treatment was great.

Before we started off with the treatment, Dr would normally take your measurement of your waistline to see the 'Before' and 'After' results.

Vanquish™ is a breakthrough in the aesthetics industry, the first and the only non-contact device for the reduction of abdomen and love handles. Unlike other machines, it does not simply reduce or remove fat from a body part. It rather eradicates its potential for growth for a prolonged period of time that, given the proper maintenance efforts, the changes can be considered permanent.

A panel that hovers above my stomach heats the skin to 101 degrees Celsius and the underlying fat to 120 for 30 - 45 minutes.

Since tummy has always been my concern, I tried Vanquish™ treatment on my tummy. For the first session, the treatment was ok apart from the redness on the tummy. However, each time after one session, I noticed a significant reduction on my waist.

However, after the first session, which is a day after, I started to feel the lump on the certain part of the tummy which has slight bruises on the skin. It was one of the normal effects hat we would face for those who are undergoing Vanquish treatment. This is because certain fats on the skin are quite thick in terms of fat layers which causes some fats to harden for a few days before they decide to dissolve off little by little. I can feel slight painful on the hips area because that's where my fats lie the most around my hips area and tummy as well.

On the lighter note, I do not feel much on the tummy as the focus on the first few Vanquish treatments was targeted on the side of my tummy or hips area. During the treatment, I was sweating a lot even though I did my treatment at the air-conditioned room as the heat from the device is high enough to make my body sweating. :D

Each time before my treatment, it is advisable to drink plenty of water before and after to help with the elimination of the dead fat cells in the body. Once the fat cells have been killed, they are filtered through the lymphatic system, metabolized in the liver and then excreted through urine.

Vanquish's tuning helps to ensure the releasing of accurate energy level to burn fat.

I like the fact that this treatment does require NOdowntime and you can return to your normal routine right after the treatment. While I was experiencing mild redness and warmth after the treatment, these side effects only last for few minutes to hours and have no effects to my daily life. In fact, it is good to have workout immediately after the treatment to ensure the faster burning process of the fat cells.

Hey readers! Today I am going to share my 2nd and 3rd session of BTL Vanquish™ with Alainn Clinic. Previously I shared about my 1st session and the results were great. You may check out the link here: http://janiceyeap.blogspot.my/2015/11/an-ultimate-way-to-slim-down-btl-vanquish-part-2.html.

After my 1st treatment, I did not notice any changes on the tummy / abdomen yet except that I feel that my love handles were getting tighter since the panel was targeted at the side of the body and hips.

I had my 2nd treatment a week after the 1st treatment for 45 minutes. On the 2nd treatment, the panel has been adjusted closer to my abdomen area and bulging tummy to get rid of the fat cells faster. As for the 3rd treatment, the panel is placed closer on the bulging tummy to burn more stubborn fat cells.

As usual, I sweat a lot along the process of the treatment and I always ask the nurse to lower down the temperature for me while the treatment is going on. At the same time, I enjoy the process as the heat transferring to the areas that I have targeted on. Sometimes it can be quite painful as if there is something poking on my body and it's tolerable. To the certain patients who are not able to tolerate, do ensure to notify the nurse during the process so that they are able to adjust the tuning.

Vanquish's tuning helps to ensure the releasing of accurate energy level to burn fat. As you can see that most of the session I undergone, the tuning was set to 180 W or 190 W. If it's too low, I could not feel the heat burning on my fats. :P

Most people can't tolerate more than 43°Cof heat at the skin level, and if you need to be at 45°C to 46°C to induce apoptosis then you need to figure out a way to have that happen without harming the patient. This is what the Vanquish's RF field does perfectly. It allows you to keep the skin at 41°C to 43°C while deep into the fat, you are at apoptotic temperatures of 45°C to 46°C.

Results may vary from patient to patient depending on many factors. I am happy after the 2nd treatment,and 3rd treatment, the usual pants I am wearing are getting loose. I started going for Body Combat and yoga classes and I can see an improvement on my waistline. I still can't have the usual model's hot body but I am satisfied with it as I can see that the bulging tummy is slightly reducing after a week of treatment.

I like the fact that it's easy for me to head on to my normal routine as usual. I can do whatever I want right after the treatment and best of all, this requires NO needles or anaesthesia required. I can also choose to have the treatments in between my working hour or during lunch hour as it can be performed in less than an hour. The Vanquish is good and painless. With other devices, sometimes treatment hurts, sometimes it doesn't but the Vanquish doesn't hurt at all. *wide grin*

Today I am going to blog about my 4th treatment of BTL Vanquish with Alainn Clinic. Most of the people in Alainn Clinic already know me whenever I step into the clinic. I love how friendly the staffs here and I am comfortable with them.

As usual, I drank a glass of water before the treatment and changed my bottom. Measurements would be taken before the treatment starts as to ensure that the treatment works well on my body.

4th Treatment

After my 3rd treatment, the nurse took my measurements and there's a reduction in the waistline. My waist has been reduced by 1 cm (not a bad results after the 3rd treatment).

During the 4th treatment, the nurse started to hover the panel closer to my abdomen and tummy area. I felt slightly painful on the side of my body and hips when the panel was getting closer to it. The tuning of the device had to be reduced to lower the heat transferred to my body. I feel not much pain on the tummy and abdomen area. Probably this could be due to more fats underlying on these areas.

Even after the treatment, immediate results were seen on my waistline. The waistline had been reduced to another 1 cm again. I jumped with joy. *wide grin* This could be the happiest moment ever as I finally lose 2 cm in just two weeks! :D

5th Treatment

After my 4th treatment, the nurse took my measurements again and sorry to say that there's no reduction in the waistline. When she took the data from the weighing machine, my weight seems to increase a little by 0.6 kg. My tummy was slightly bloated than before which I am quite sad about it.

By right I am not supposed to have increment in weight. Probably this is could be due to food intake I had or water retention in my body a week before the 5th treatment. Dr reminded me to look after my food intake since it could be the reasons why my weight has increased.

The treatment was ok overall and I felt my body became tighter and firmer. On the other side, the upper waist and hips have been reduced to 0.5 cm and 1 cm respectively from the previous measurement which I am quite satisfied. The waistline still remained the same. Dr told me that the following week would be my last session of BTL Vanquish™in Alainn Clinic. I gotta workout more often and look after my food intake to see the best results and benefits I would get from BTL Vanquish™! :D

Under Armour launched the new 'Women of Will' campaign on the rooftop of Avenue K in conjunction with the Breast Cancer Awareness month. The objective is to celebrate Pink Ribbon cause.

There were 2 breast cancer survivor, Miss Quek and Puan Amnah whom shared their story of how they overcame and fought the illness in their life.

Amnah Salleh, the 1st breast cancer survivor sharing her story of how she overcame her diagnoses.

Quek Chu San, the 2nd breast cancer survivor showing her courage in fighting the recurrence of the illness in her life.

Puan Nori Tun Abdullah officially launched the campaign with local personalities Nadia Heng, Yvonne Lee, Isabella Wong and the Under Armour Malaysia Brand Athletes.

In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness month, Under Armour has pledged to donate 10% of all proceeds from its Power in Pink range for the entire month of October to its charity partner, the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA).

In addition to proceeds benefiting BCWA, Under Armour has also set up donation boxes at all Brand Houses to be used at the discretion of patrons.

I was so excited for this as the guests who presented at the launch will get the opportunity to go for yoga and circuit training session with Miss Atilia Haron and Miss Nana Al-Haleq respectively. *jump with joy* The guests were also be given an Under Armour t-shirt which is from the Power in Pink range.

Overall the training was fun. I had fun training with Miss Atilia and the rest of the participants. There are some poses which I had trouble with them but it was indeed a good experience.

I wish that I can be better in some of the routines and I will go to the yoga classes more often to practice and hope that the body will be more flexible than before.

After the session ended, both Kah Mon and I had the opportunity to take a wefie shot with Miss Atilia. She is really awesome and friendly. Thank you for the lessons. Will definitely sign up some of your yoga classes in future. (:

A month ago, I received a pretty package packed in Muse by Watsons box. I knew that this is a pretty gift from Muse by Watsons. But I have no idea what's inside.

Fillume Volumising Serum incorporates the latest scientific innovations, which is a unique formula of 5 clinically proven peptides designed to work on the skin's matrix, helping to improve the appearance of skin aging.

It is packed with peptides and sesame seed extract which helps to plump up the skin to combat visible signs of ageing.
